Go Georgia’s Grants Assistance Program (GAP) helps turn funding opportunities into on-the-ground bike, walk, and roll projects across the state. Created to tackle the challenges that often stand between communities and grant awards, the GAP supports advocates and local leaders through every step of the application process. Go Georgia is helping you put better bike/walk/roll infrastructure on the ground in your community. Cities, counties, and local advocates tell us regularly that they'd like to build bike lanes, trails, and sidewalks, but they just don't have the money, or that they'd love to take advantage of grant funding to build this critical infrastructure if they just had the resources to apply.

We guide project visioning from early ideas to a fundable plan, identify grants that fit your goals, and provide guidance on how to make your application competitive.

We host virtual and in-person grant workshops and trainings, maintain an online database of funding opportunities, and publicize new opportunities, deadlines, and other grant news.

We offer customized, targeted help with application components such as project narratives, cost estimates and budgeting, and mapping, or we can prepare a full application from start to finish.
